Inside the mind of a baby model

Last weekend I attended the baby shower of one of my best friends (Hi Tina! Hi Baby! I love you both!) which required me to don a dress. This is pretty much a once a year event, so I wanted to take advantage of looking halfway decent, and get a couple of pictures with my girl.

Perhaps I forgot that my girl is over it. You see, she's big now. Much too big to sit like a baby lump and submit to my photoshoot will. She's got places to go, things to do, stuff to eat. Our pursuit of a quality photo was all but foiled.







Oh Piper you are a spunky little bird. And I love you exactly as you are.

      Thanks Meg! The dress is from Urban....got it for my baby shower last year. (Bonus/obvious maternity styling tip- buy a size or too up to fit the bump, and then belt it later.)

    Oh I just love reading your blog ...i mean to comment much more :) Love your fashion posts, (you made me want to sign up for stitch fix!), & love your family pics. That face on that child!!! My goodness, she is just SO cute!! beautiful mommy too. that little busy body still managed to make a perfect picture! :)

      Thanks Ne! Coming from a photographer with one of the most beautiful families I've ever seen in real life, I'll take those compliments for sure! And you should totally sign up for StitchFix. You have such a funky, cool style, I think you'd love it (and I want to see what they'd send you!)
